In 1995, with deregulation, Ankrum Trucking Inc began delivering products under our own name. Harold retired in 1992, turning over daily operations to his son Stewart.

Stewart grew up with trucking on his mind. He provided his share of mechanics on the trucks and trailers. Aside from the 4-year stint in the Marine Corps, this is the only job he has known, and he takes great pride in the company.

Today, we pride ourselves on being a family-operated company. With Stewart's wife and 2 sons along with great employees, we all work together to make this company thrive.

Trucking has been a part of the Ankrum family since 1967 when Harold Ankrum began hauling products to California. In 1971, Harold diversified his loads to include petroleum products as well as deliveries with refrigerated trailers, bull racks, flat beds and gas trailers. 

In 1992, Harold Ankrum retired and handed daily operations to his son Stewart. Having been in the Marine Corps, Stewart found his training in "Adapt and Overcome" to be a solid motto with deregulation and its effects on the trucking industry. In 1995 the company began delivering products under its own name, Ankrum Trucking Inc.
